Pam Horan is an acknowledged leader in the internet media and advertising space. She is a leading voice across a wide range of topics including internet business models, content and audience strategies, monetization as well as on industry issues such as privacy, self-regulation and government regulation.
Pam joined Peter at Horan MediaTech Advisors as a partner in June 2014.
Prior to that Pam was President of the Online Publishers Association, which she ran for almost a decade. The OPA is the trade association for the media companies that are the leading creators of quality original digital content. Under her leadership the membership of the organization more than tripled and the scope of its contribution to its members businesses also increased greatly.
Prior to joining the OPA as VP of marketing and membership in 2004, Pam was VP Marketing & Business Development with Zinio Systems, the digital magazine service. In addition to driving the marketing, promotion, PR and branding strategy, Pam drove key strategic partnerships including Apple. Pam has also held senior marketing & management roles at Women.com, IDG and Symantec Corporation.
Pam sits on the board of directors for SF BIG (Bay Area Interactive Group) and on the Shorty Awards Academy. Ad:Tech honored her with their Industry Contributions Award in Oct. 2017, highlighting her advancements in diversifying revenue streams, reader trust, and building strong brands across multiple platforms.
